Fur Designer Bente Houmann Andersen, born in Skagen, Denmark. She has her operating centre in Hamburg, Germany, where she opened a design studio in 1996. Here the Danish stylist creates, elaborates and carries out a numerous projects and collection in fur. In fact the name of the Danish designer, who has a Master degree in Fashion Design, is associated with important projects in the fur world such as:
The international advertising campaign for Swakara brand, African karakul lamb pelts produced in Namibia.
Teen years collaboration with Great Greenland developing not only the coat collection, but also bags and lifestyle items and their catalogue.
Has been working tree year for Emba in Japan making Nordic collection for the Japanese market.
Bente collaborates with fur companies in Russia, New York, Greece, Denmark, Germany, China, and Canada. Further more she is working on Projects/collections with SAGA Fur, Copenhagen Fur and with Austrian fur association.
Different Fur tannery companies are also counting to some of her costumers.
Despite her numerous commitments, Bente manages to find time to return to Denmark, where she teaches Fur and Fur Design at the Danish Design and Business Academy.
